In the heart of Westminster, Victoria Street has been reimagined as a dynamic, functional workspace that combines cutting-edge design with exceptional craftsmanship.
This 10,000 sq. ft. project, completed in just six weeks, showcases the artistry of crittal-style glazing and bespoke details, setting a new benchmark for modern office design.
Partnering with Parkeray, IDL:Architects, and Franchi Glass, we brought bold aesthetics and practical ingenuity together to transform this space into a visually striking yet effortlessly functional environment. Every detail – from the sleek crittal-style banding to the reeded privacy film – was a testament to what true collaboration can achieve.

The transformation of Victoria Street was led by the integration of Concept25 single-glazed partitions and RS32 single-glazed doors, both featuring our signature ConceptC1 crittal-style flat bar banding. This distinctive feature adds character and structure, elevating the overall design.
To elevate privacy without sacrificing openness, a sophisticated reeded-effect fluted film was applied to the partitions, adding depth and texture while softening transparency. This carefully considered detail enhances the space’s modern aesthetic, seamlessly complemented by the striking RAL 9005 Black finish, which ties the entire design together with bold cohesion and understated elegance.

Safety was a key priority for this project, especially on Level 7, where a ConceptFireEI30 fire-rated double doorset was installed to protect the lift lobby. This solution not only met strict fire regulations but also seamlessly integrated into the overall design, demonstrating how practicality and style can coexist.
Acoustic performance was equally essential, with the partitions achieving 38dB Rw and the doors 36dB Rw, ensuring a comfortable and productive workspace.

Every element of this project was designed with precision and purpose. The doors were hung on CC pivots and operated by DormaBTS75 floor springs, supplied by Franchi, ensuring smooth and reliable operation. Bespoke ConceptP1 paddle handles with push plates added a flush, minimalistic finish, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.
The focus on precision extended to the glazing systems, which were carefully installed to reflect the architects’ vision while addressing the client’s specific functional needs. Each detail was thoughtfully executed to create a space that seamlessly combines form and purpose.

The success of this project was built on a foundation of collaboration. Working with Parkeray as the main contractor, IDL:Architects on the design, and Franchi for ironmongery, City Concepts ensured that every aspect of the installation met the highest standards.
The project’s six-week timeline required efficient planning, seamless coordination, and clear communication among all partners. This collaborative effort underscores the importance of teamwork in delivering spaces that inspire and perform.

The completed space at Victoria Street exemplifies the power of thoughtful design and expert craftsmanship. From the crittal-style banding to the reeded film’s elegant finish and fire-rated solutions, every detail speaks to City Concepts’ commitment to innovation and quality.
This space is not just a functional workplace; it’s a statement of what’s possible when design, safety, and collaboration converge.
